[20 Jul 2005|05:01pm] I finished reading HBP this morning. A rush of emotions right after I finished, most prominent being anger.  I absolutely detest the death of one of my favorite characters; a death that was miserable, uncalled for, and seemed pointless.  And there were just SO many questions unanswered! Naturally, brilliant writing and great story; I'm simply in awe of the depth of this book.  Definately one of the best, but still, my anger at the way nothing's explained, and the pointless deaths of great characters....argh. *sigh* comment

Apparently, as photobucket has warned me, I've exceeded 1000 megabytes of bandwidth on my free account.  Now considering this is just my third icon post, I'm kind of shocked that I'm over the bandwidth limit already.  I only have 500mbs of bandwidth left before photobucket shuts me down for the month, and if that happens, I'm probably going to be forced to friend-lock all icon entries in order to minimize the chance of direct linking.  I really don't want to do that, so please DON'T DIRECTLY LINK to my icons.   I now have to figure out how to NOT go over my bandwidth limit every time I make a large icon post, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!  Thank you all for your wonderful comments for my icons. Tutorial 01 [02 Jul 2005|10:34am] Ok, this tutorial is only staying up for a LIMITED TIME.  It's the way a few of my bases are prepared and turned into icons.  I'll be deleting the tutorial after some time, but I'll probably make another tutorial soon.  Oh and I use PS7, but I think this tutorial is easy enough to translate to most programs. [27 Jun 2005|11:18pm] Just a few more icons to go! I'm dangerously close to 100 icons, and hopefully tomorrow I'll have finished the multifandom icons, and I'll post them. And when I say multifandom, I mean it. LOTS of stuff, man. My fandoms have increased greatly since my last update. I'm love with the show House M.D. It's quite possibly my absolute FAVORITE new series, with Veronica Mars and Lost right next to it. Honestly. I've been meaning to plug it for a while. But I can't hold out for any longer. You must must MUST watch House! In other news, A Series of Unfortuante Events is a beautiful, whimsical, and charming (albeit morbid) film, and I don't remember how Mr. & Mrs. Smith was, because I was distracted by Brad Pitt.  The guy doesn't age.  It's so bizarre how good-looking he is, esp w/ his hair cut short. comment

I con men. [07 Jun 2005|08:37pm] watercolornight and I have finally nudged around to officially opening our icon community: iconmen.  Technically, it's I con men or icon men.  Pun(s).  Get it?  Aha.  ha.  ha.  *grasshoppers chirping* ...Yeah.  Actually, she deserves the credit for getting around and opening it.  Cause I'm just...uh....lazy. ANYWAY, I've been making icons, don't worry.  Icon posts (as always) are somewhat infrequent due to my lack of free time, but when I do get them up, they're usually fairly large (I don't enjoy small icon posts very much).  Anyway, I'll have to figure out if I'll post my icons here or just there, but 'til then, expect them in both journals. AAAND don't think I forgot about the tutorial.  Should be up sometime before or with the icon post.  And this time, it's not only lost!  YAY!  Multi-fandom. LASTLY, I'd love it if you all threw ideas at me to turn into icons.  Not necessarily requests, but stuff you'd like to see more icons out of.  I can't guarantee I'll get to all of 'em (though I doubt there'll be many, considering I doubt people actually read this journal), but I'll try!
